About Canine POV
My Journey
Hi, I’m Cambria, the founder of Canine POV! My journey began in 2018 when I adopted a rescue dog with significant behavior challenges. This led me to studying dog training and behavior. As my dog's behavior and disposition improved, my passion for understanding the canine mind ignited.
I earned my Advanced Canine Training Professional Certification (CACTP) and Canine Training and Behavior Specialist Certification (CCTBS) through the Animal Behavior Institute, and I hold the CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed) designation through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). I continue to stay current with the latest research and expanding my education to better serve both dogs and their humans.
The Mission
I believe training isn't just about teaching behaviors that suit the human; it's about recognizing and meeting the unique needs of each dog, honoring their natural instincts, and learning their language.
Whether you're working on basic manners, reactivity, anxiety, or other behavior concerns, we approach every situation with humane, evidence-based techniques that prioritize your dog's wellbeing and long-term success. My goal is to create a training experience where both human and canine voices are heard — and where every behavior challenge has a kind, thoughtful solution.
